Fine, Busy, Anxious

Have you noticed that we collectively boil down the entire emotional experience of being alive on the planet to things like: fine, busy, and anxious? How are you? Fine. How are you? Busy. How are you? (If you're really being honest...) Anxious.

It’s a question we hear dozens of times each week: How are you?

How we answer this question is *pretty* interesting.

We resort to "fine" because it's the socially acceptable answer to the socially acceptable question.

We resort to "busy" because we believe ourselves to be, in fact, very busy.

And when we talk to ourselves? We resort to "anxious." Because we believe it to be the predominant thing we are experiencing.

This episode of The Transforming Anxiety Podcast is all about fine, busy, and anxious. Come explore with me…

There’s a Fine, Busy, Anxious Challenge to go along with this episode. If you’re ready to take this work to the next level, grab your copy of the Fine, Busy, Anxious Challenge worksheet by clicking here.

And let me hear from you! Comment below, send me an email, or connect with me on social media. I’d love to keep the conversation going with you, yes YOU, between episodes.
