I've been paying more and more attention to the words in my mind and in my conversations and it occurs to me there are some words that really do NOT serve us well. I started taking notes and came up with a short list to talk about with you today: words to stop saying.
There are some very common, everyday words that we toss around to each other and think incessantly in our own minds that, well, we need to knock it off. 🙃
Things like...
Hate
Obviously
Just
Always
Never
Should
I want us to get together today and really consider how these words feel when they land. What meaning gets infused into the conversation when these things come up.
Spoiler alert: it's not good.
Join me for this week's episode of The Transforming Anxiety and let's talk about this handful of words that we can kinda sorta eliminate from our inner self-talk and everyday conversation. And then, think about it and send me YOUR ideas...what else should we add to the list?
